Types of Inspections

A home is usually the single biggest investment each of us will ever make.

I offer home-inspection services for owners, sellers, and buyers, each (except as noted) with a full written, illustrated report provided within five days of inspection date. Each longer inspection also includes a walk-through with you, once I’ve made my initial rounds.

Ultimately, a thorough home inspection depends heavily on the individual home inspector’s effort. I won’t rush, but devote whatever time each house requires; I’ll inspect your home like it’s my very own.

I am a New York State-licensed inspector, trained at a state-approved school affiliated with the InterNACHI professional organization. I follow their Code of Ethics (pdf) and their Standards of Practice, which I encourage you to read (click for pdf) to learn what is, and isn’t, part of a thorough home inspection.
